This just came off as twist in his movies, which took off a dramatic turn causing problems for him.

However, Mr. Joshi is likely to continue the hearing in Khan's case.

Salman's lawyer Mahesh Boda told the media that he has been getting life threats for presenting the actor's case but he was not afraid of them.

The Bishnois chased the actor's auto, a Gypsy, on their bikes after finding the carcass of the dead animals at the spot. The court sentenced him 5 years imprisonment along with Rs 10,000 penalty under Section 51 of the Act. The wrongdoings done by him were not worth of mercy and therefore he should not be granted bail.

Hundreds flocked to his home in Mumbai to show solidarity with the star who moved from his luxury apartment to sleeping on the floor of a cell in the Jodhpur Central Jail. Actress Preity Zinta also visited Salman Khan in the jail.

His lawyers claim the black bucks died of natural causes such as overeating, claiming there was no evidence the animals were shot. In its order, the Registrar General of the High Court also announced the transfer of 87 District Judges and promotion of 20 judicial officers.

While Salman was found guilty, the four co-stars and a local, Dushyant Singh, were acquitted. He has the history of clearing off the cases against him. The actor was previously accused of drinking and driving and hit and run case. The decision was challenged in the Supreme Court. He was also accused of abuse by ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai, a leading Bollywood actress. Poonamchand Bishnoi claimed that he heard gunshots and then saw the actor leaving the scene in his vehicle.

Mahipal Bishnoi, the lawyer for the Bishnoi community, said Salman will not be able to leave the country without the court's permission.

Three cases were for poaching and one was for possession and use of illegal arms. Salman's blood pressure was reportedly high when he entered the jail on Thursday, however, it stabilised later. These projects might get delayed, but there will be a limited monetary loss.

The other major titles are "Kick 2", "Dabangg 3" and "Bharat", each budgeted between Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore, Ramji said.
