In addition to the Easter Egg grenade launchers that have been added to the game, other new Fortnite content includes vending machines that will now be sprinkled around the map.

Now, anyone with a newer model of iPhone or iPad can play Fortnite Battle Royale on their mobile or tablet device. A lot of players are reporting being unable to see them, and getting a message that simply says "unlocks in 0 seconds". There are three different weapon choices per machine, one for each type of material.

Vending Machines come as part of the most recent Fortnite update, and work just as you might imagine them to: to purchase a trade materials. The Vending Machines now drop in different types of rarity tiers, with their cost increasing depending on the type of machine. The vending machine would display each at a time and gradually rotate through them.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS. Vending Machines will host 3 items, with one item purchasable by wood, stone and metal each.

Items found in a Rare (blue) version will cost 300 materials. The items are cycled every so often and there is no limit to how many you can purchase in each match. Each of the three items in a machine will cost you materials.

Epic Games has also added a limited-time High Explosives game mode. You're probably just as likely to find a weapon you need in a treasure chest. You can use your pickaxe to help sort through the machine's options. More importantly, balance changes are being implemented for weapons.

Epic Games has announced that they'll be slowing down their Fortnite patch schedule to once every two weeks to improve bug fixing.
