Beyoncé just became the first black woman to headline Coachella, adding another impressive accomplishment to her long list of accolades.

Beyonce returned spectacularly to the stage on Saturday with a joyous, homecoming-themed party at the Coachella festival, where she delighted fans with a rare reunion of her former trio Destiny's Child.

Later, the Grammy award victor, 36, staged a Destiny's Child reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. "Thank you Coachella for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline".

Making her way onto the stage in a complicated opening production back by a brass marching band, Bey asked the Indio crowd, 'Y'all ready Coachella?' before launching into Crazy In Love and sending the crowd wild.

The Grammy Award winner's head stylist, Marni Senofonte, reportedly tapped Rousteing - who worked with the singer on her 2016 tour costumes - to dress her for this year's Coachella after she attended the designer's fall '18 runway show.

One of the biggest moments from Bey's performance came from a cameo with her sister Solange.

During Beyoncé's day-closing set at the California festival, Adele shared three videos on her Instagram page of her reaction to the appearance.

She stormed through almost every song she has ever released - including the world's quickest duet with husband Jay-Z - and even took the time to get a manicure halfway through the set.

This time, it's the turn of one of her all time idols, Beyoncé. "I hope y'all enjoyed the show, we worked very hard".
