On Twitter on Thursday, Mehta quoted NFL Media's Ian Rapoport's tweet reporting that Wilkerson is leaving his first free-agent visit with the Green Bay Packers and headed to New Orleans: "Wilkerson is getting some awful advice", Mehta tweeted.

Jason La Canfora notes that the Chiefs are on a list of visits that also includes the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints for now.

The tweet above from New York Daily News beat reporter, Manish Mehta, last night has just sparked one of the more Jets stories you'll ever see.

"It's not personal. I just know how people in the building, people close to him in his life feel about him".

Look, Wilkerson, the 30th overall pick in the 2011 draft, is an intriguing prospect.

Ka'idah even threatened Mehta saying that she thinks that they should contact their attorneys about taking legal action. "Manish have never liked Muhammad". Ka'idah asked. "Like, really". "He may have met him in temple, but he has always written awful things about my son".

"Where's your proof, Manish, that Muhammad is an alcoholic?" she told WFAN. "I'm just livid. I'm just livid with him".

Released last month by the Jets, Wilkerson visited the Packers on Thursday and left without a deal, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

After Manish's interview was over Ka'idah called into the show to defend Muhammad and ripped Mehta. "Like, why do you keep saying these things about my son?"

The Jets released the 315-pound defensive tackle in February. But Wilkerson's mother was still going to defend him. No, I don't.He (Mehta) always has something negative to say about Muhammad.
