Milan duel a decider for Wenger

The Arsenal Supporters' Trust conducted a survey at Monday night's meeting about whether the club should cancel Wenger's contract at the end of the season.

Former Arsenal forward Julio Baptista has insisted that it is wrong to underestimate the Gunners ahead of their Europa League tie against AC Milan.

As per the report, the Spaniard had completed training as usual with his teammates on Wednesday morning, but the club have left him out for the San Siro trip in order to avoid any long-term issues with his knee.

Far be it for the club who now boasts Sam Allardyce as their manager to look down their nose at Arsene Wenger. Likewise, the defender Nacho Monreal is recovering from the wound, and he is listed as doubtful for the first leg. "He started a little session today, but he's not ready".

ARSENAL'S stars do NOT want Mikel Arteta to replace Arsene Wenger as their next manager. Did he pass on any tips to the relatively new tactician? I can just stand aside and salute him. He's a guy with much experience. It's going to be an interesting game and I bring a fresher mentality to the table, but he's got vast experience and I've got the utmost respect for him.

While Milan may also be struggling for a return to the top, Gattuso at least has them well-organised defensively.

On the other hand, the Gunners are in a deep crisis and winning the Europa League may well be their only chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

With Arsenal's hopes of Champions League qualification via the Premier League over, the Europa League has taken on huge significance for club and manager alike.

"This is an opportunity for us and we have to take it". "It increases the pressure on it even more, this competition".

"I think certain players are guilty of that, and I think Arsene has a big share in the responsibility for that". When you struggle for confidence, it's hard as well when you have just the pants on.

"I want to grab the players by the collar, shake them up".

"As soon as you take your foot off the pedal, there are too many good teams around who can knock you down again".
