Tipster Slashleaks has put out images of the batteries on the upcoming devices along with charging port flex, camera and fingerprint sensor. Based on leakster Roland Quandt's photos, the Galaxy S9 will have a 3,000 mAh battery while the Galaxy S9+ will have a 3,500 mAh. This new Smartphone is going to be the next big thing in the market for sure. The leaked pictures have indicated that the Galaxy S9 might house a 3,000mAh battery (EB-BG960), and the Galaxy S9+ has a 3,500mAh battery (EB-BG965), which is the same as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The code-names star and star2 have been linked with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus since November previous year. The pictures all have the number "9" on them, suggesting the upcoming Galaxy S9 series. Reports have confirmed that Samsung will reposition the fingerprint sensors on the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ to place below the rear camera lens. Last month, Samsung wrapped up an Android Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8.

All the major Samsung smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, Note 8 and S8 Active will receive the update. The Galaxy S9 would be a minor upgrade over its predecessors. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 received a new update yesterday, though the new software version did not bumped the security patch.

Samsung Experience 9.0 also includes some improvements to DeX, Samsung Connect, Samsung Cloud, Game Launcher, and the built-in email application.

Both the handsets are expected to share other key specifications, including the Exynos 9810 processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 for United States market) and camera.
