He also objected to repeated assertions by BJP leaders that the Centre had increased the funds given to Karnataka, something that was highlighted by both PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah during the party's statewide rally Parivartana Yatra.

"Prime Minister Modi is supporting and facilitating corruption", the CM alleged. Passing an interim order, a division bench of acting Chief Justice HG Ramesh and Justice PS Dinesh Kumar asked the Siddaramaiah government to take appropriate steps to prevent breakdown of law and order on that date.

Hitting out at the Prime Minister over his allegations the Congress government in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah sought proof of "corruption and misgovernance" in Karnataka.

On Sunday, during a rally in Bengaluru, PM Modi scatched a attack into the Siddaramaiah government and said, "The Congress CM has only done business here".

Making a poll pitch to the state's farmers, Modi said the Budget presented by the Centre shows the BJP's commitment to the rural sector.

Siddaramaiah criticised Modi for failing to speak about farmers' problems at the rally. "The countdown of Congress-mukt Karnataka has already begun".

Addressing Modi, the Congress leader said, "Dear Narendra Modi, being the Prime Minister of the country, your words should carry high credibility".

Taking the war with acronyms which is now happening between two parties to the next level, Congress described the NDA government as "Not Doing Anything!" "More than 1 crore loans have been sanctioned under Mudra Yojana", Modi said about schemes for the poor.

However, the Prime Minister remained silent on one of the most Rs burning' issues - Mahadayi water sharing dispute between Karnataka and Goa - that has created massive unrest in the State. "Yet, he is talking about Karnataka as a hotbed of crime when we don't even figure in the top 10 of the NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau), which is their own (central) figures", Reddy said.

Yeddyurappa attacked Siddaramaiah and tweeted that the State had become "No.1 in corruption" under the Congress and has faced over 3,000 farmer deaths, collapse of law and order.

"Says a man who presided over India's biggest mining scam during his rule". Here also they are projecting a CM candidate who has been to jail.
