Fallen Kingdom' trailer erupts with action

It's fair to say that the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was divisive.

It's become expected for giant movie trailers to come out during the Super Bowl 52 showing, and today Universal chose to unleash an all-new spot for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Starting with an homage to Steven Spielberg's The BFG and the first Jurassic Park film, Fallen Kingdom promises a ton of drama and scares. Again. Because that worked so well last time.

The hybrid in the Fallen Kingdom trailer appears to be a cross-breed of Jurassic World's Indominus Rex, and velociraptor DNA (we see it tapping its claw on the ground in a throwback to the raptor in the first Jurassic Park movie). The movie has been co-written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

Jeff Goldblum and Jeep paid homage to the original Jurassic Park film in a Super Bowl ad Sunday.

When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. In an ingenious and nostalgic Super Bowl commercial from Jeep, we see Goldblum as Doctor Ian Malcolm during his famous "Must go faster!" scene. It makes sense that we see it come to fruition in Jurassic World 2. Are you excited for the movie?

According to reports, the film will reportedly see Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing enlisting the help of new characters played by Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith to help in her organisation called "Dinosaur Protection Group".
