Blizzard hasn't shared details regarding the skins or special modes we'll see in this year's version of the event, but reportedly told a fan that they'd have to "wait and see" if a capture-the-flag mode would return.

Blizzard has announced that the next Overwatch event will begin on February 8th.

We'll keep you posted on what this new Overwatch event entails.

This February, Pet Valu will take the old saying, "you lucky dog" to a whole new level.

Last year's lunar event starred Mei and ran from January 24 through February 13.

"Wishing you prosperity in the Year of the Dog", Blizzard wrote in a tweet.

Outside of a brief trailer released on Twitter, little else is known about the Chinese New Year event. The Rooster delivered unto us new cosmetic items including skins, emotes, victory poses, voice lines, sprays, highlight intros, and icons, a Lunar New Year-themed reskin of the Lijiang Tower map, and a new CTF brawl in the Arcade called Capture the Rooster.

The company held a similar event for the Year of the Rooster in 2017, but this year players will be celebrating the Year of the Dog.

If you don't find any in loot boxes, you can also purchase the items directly by visiting the Hero Gallery.

Junkrat's Concussion Mine has also been tweaked to do less damage to players outside of the initial blast radius.
