The mid-tier 5.7-inch Alcatel 5 is the company's premium phone with a focus on photography. Priced at Euro 229.99, the smartphone has a near bezel-less display on sides and bottom. It, however, makes up for it with dual cameras on the front, another 13 megapixel f/2.0 sensor paired with a 5 megapixel super wide-angle camera. The company has unveiled as many as five smartphones and two tablets. You'll get a 5.3 inch display with a 16 megapixel camera, and interestingly, it'll also be using the Android Go version of Android Oreo.

Rounding out the Alcatel 5′s feature set is a 3,000mAh battery, fingerprint reader, and Android Nougat. The Alcatel 3X, on the other hand, brings the screen size down just a tad, and changes the secondary rear camera out for a 5-megapixel one with a 120-degree wide angle lens for some wonderful shots. Some other features are 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, quad-core processor, fingerprint sensor and 3000mAh battery. It will be available in color choices of Spectrum Black, Blue, and Gold. Some of the key specifications of the smartphone are 13MP (f/2.0 aperture)+5MP (f/2.2 aperture) rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3000mAh battery, 32GB expandable storage and fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a quad core MediaTek MT6738 SoC. More specifically, the Alcatel 5 features a 5.7-inch 1440×720 pixel screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. As for the tablets, Alcatel has launched its 1T 10 and Alcatel 1T 7 tablets, both powered by Android 8.1 Oreo. It also sports a 3,000mAh battery, which isn't half bad given the price-tag.

Then there's the Alcatel 3X, which has its own dual rear camera setup with a 13MP sensor and a 5MP wide angle sensor.

At the end of 2017, the Internet giant Google promised that in the first quarter of 2018 will see the light of the world's first smartphone based on the new Android OS Go. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 2-megapixel front camera sensor. With Android Go, the low-end smartphone comes with Google's new suite of pre-installed apps including Google Go, Files Go, Google Maps Go, YouTube Go, and Gmail Go.

The Alcatel 3V gets a bigger, 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio with an IPS 2.5D curved display that packs a 2K resolution (2160×1080 pixels).

Alcatel says that the Alcatel 5 is now available in select markets for €229 ($281 USD). These devices come for less than €100 for the single SIM variant and €110 for the dual-SIM variant.
