The two-year deal, which will include every. single. game. of the league's first two seasons includes every geography but China (no word about who the streaming partner will be there).

With Overwatch League kicking off its first ever season, Game director Jeff Kaplan recently teased that League-themed skins would be added to Overwatch.

Overwatch League home-team skins are now available in-game via the League Token system, which allows players to support the Overwatch League team (or teams!) of their choice.

For those wondering, that's a new skin for all 26 Overwatch heroes for each of the 12 Overwatch League teams. These also feature the various logos for the different Overwatch League teams, so think of them as jerseys for your favorite heroes. It takes 100 Tokens to purchase a skin, and tokens run from $4.99 or your regional equivalent for 100 Tokens up to $99.99 for 2,600 tokens (enough to buy an entire team's skins for every hero in the game).

The Overwatch League is scheduled to begin on January 10. The partnership also brings with it exclusive Overwatch League items in the game itself for some of the most die-hard viewers.

"The Overwatch League is making a major impact on esports by reshaping the industry with city-based teams", said Twitch chief operating officer Kevin Lin said in a press release. Activision Blizzard stated it will announce more details around these in-game rewards in the future.

"Our fans love to engage with content on Twitch, and we wanted to drive significant viewership of the Overwatch League in its inaugural season and beyond", said Armin Zerza, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment, in a statement.

Get ready Overwatch fans, because your official eSports league begins tomorrow. Twelve teams, comprising of professional Overwatch players from all across the world, will compete for the first Overwatch League championship title, where finals will be held in July 2018.

Blizzard has experimented with streaming their esports events on platforms other than Twitch, and it has nearly always been met with resistance.
