U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents in Texas found 76 undocumented immigrants in the back of a tractor-trailer near the border with Mexico, the CBP announced Monday.

Border Patrol Agents in Laredo discovered almost 80 illegal aliens, including 13 unaccompanied children, traveling in the cargo area of a tractor trailer on Friday.

Dozens of immigrants were found inside this tractor-trailer in Texas. A 20-year-old man in the auto was a DACA recipient and his 22-year-old cousin was illegal along with another 21-year-old illegal.

In another incident, agents received a tip from a citizen who observed a suspected smuggling incident near Torrey Pines State Beach on January 24, 2018.

Around 8 a.m. Thursday, in an apparently unrelated incident, Border Patrol agents arrested two illegal immigrants in Campo, and a short time later spotted two suspicious vehicles near Buckman Springs Road.

"These criminal organizations view these individuals as mere commodities without regard for their safety".

The driver in custody is a US citizen, but ICE officials are withholding his name and all other details about the case.

The truck driver, James Matthew Bradley Jr., that he was not aware of the illegal the deadly human-smuggling operation and could face life in prison.
