Videos shows the former Hollywood mogul leaving Elements in Scottsdale when a man hits Weinstein twice in the face with his backhand. But the restaurant's manager said he was "very sweet about it" and replied: 'I'd rather not take a picture right now.' It is understood Weinstein did not get police involved.

According to the TMZ report, Weinstein was having dinner at 9pm with his "sober coach" when a patron asked for a photograph. Weinstein did not call police, but TMZ reports Steve appeared to be drunk and had approached Weinstein earlier for a selfie.

When 9 PM rolled around, Weinstein was ready to leave but so were Steve and his friend.

He can also be heard calling Weinstein "a piece of s-t for what [he] did to those women".

The video shows Weinstein's sober coach quickly usher his client past him and then hold up his hands to prevent the men from filming any more of the scene. Rose McGowan is one of several women to accuse Weinstein of rape.

Steve did admit to TMZ he had "quite a bit to drink" when the incident occurred.

The video was later shared by TMZ.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that the resort did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the incident but Weinstein's representative confirmed in an email that "the TMZ report is accurate".

Weinstein, 65, has been spotted in the Valley over the past few months after dozens of allegations surfaced in late 2017 that for decades he had sexually harassed and blacklisted women who rejected his advances.

Steve admitted to consuming a substantial amount of alcohol prior to the incident and said he told his friend to capture the events on his cell phone.

Weinstein reportedly is undergoing rehab at the exclusive Meadows center in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Weinstein has been coming to Arizona since a New York Times story exposed him as a serial sexual predator.
