Slightly cooler this Thursday

This morning will still have mostly cloudy skies but very low rain chances.

For most portions of the Tri-State, rain will continue through lunchtime, then move out between 2 and 4 p.m. That brings most of us into the upper 50s, with a few more 60 degree readings dotting the landscape to the south and east. There isn't moisture with it but it will cause an increase in clouds early in the day and eventually cooler temperatures.

The next cold front should move through before noon Thursday.

Next weekend will remain nice with great weather to get outside! Highs will even warm back up into the lower 50s Saturday and Sunday.

A few showers return on Thursday. However, a big change in our weather pattern is looking likely late next week with much cooler weather heading our way. The best chance to see a passing shower will be between 5-11pm. It won't be a total washout, but showers will be likely especially for the afternoon hours. Expect on-and-off rain throughout the day Thursday: occasional light to moderate showers. By Wednesday night, the bulk of the rain will be gone and skies will begin to clear once again. Then overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid 40s. Temperatures rebound into the weekend, with high temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 60s Saturday and upper 60s Sunday. Temperatures will also be much cooler.

Temperatures take a slight dip Friday into the mid 60s, and overnight lows drop to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
