Mike Pence and his wife are spending the week in Aspen, Colorado.

Mike Pence's neighbors in Aspen, Colorado just trolled the anti-LGBT Vice President with a rainbow banner that reads "Make America Gay Again".

The banners were hung by their daughters, and their action had the full support of their parents, Shannon Slade, a girlfriend of one of the daughters, who was also involved in the action, told the Aspen Times.

Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo told The Aspen Times that a deputy was there when a neighbor put out the banner.

Pence, who describes himself as a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican (in that order), has long held anti-LGBTQ views. Pence also as a history of opposing the LGBT community.

The rainbow banner is hung from a stone pillar near a home that sits across the street from where Pence is staying.

While serving as the governor of Indiana, Pence signed into law a contentious bill that would permit businesses to openly discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community. It was later modified by IN legislators who added anti-discrimination provisions. Pence said on the House floor that he feared the bill "could have a chilling effect on the religious expression and religious freedom of millions of Americans". But the provisions only applied to some of the most liberal cities in the state, which already had protections in place, according to the Post.

But in Aspen, Colo., this week, Vice President Mike Pence has something different posted between his vacation lodging and that of the people next door.

"He was real sheepish and thought he might be confronted by the Secret Service or deputies who'd tell him he couldn't do it", DiSalvo said. Citing a Harvard researcher, Pence said in his speech, "societal collapse was always brought about following an advent of the deterioration of marriage and family". Clinton won Colorado with a almost 3 percent lead.
