India' second largest telecom operator, Vodafone has yet again revised the Rs 199 plan to match the current benefits offered by rival telecom operators such as Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Idea Cellular.

Reliance Jio has revealed two new plans under its Happy New Year 2018 offer Rs 199 and Rs 299. For Rs 349, Airtel users can get 2GB data per day along with free calls and SMS.

The Jio 299 plan offers the same 28 days validity period as the Jio 199 plan but gives you 2GB of 4G data per day.

Reliance Jio announced two new "Happy New Year 2018" recharge offers with 1GB daily data, and now Vodafone has followed suit with similar recharge plans. Which tariff plan are you now subscribed to? Both the plans are the monthly plan. The Rs 198 recharge pack offers unlimited local and STD voice calls and 1GB data per day.

Vodafone in a statement has said that this ₹198 prepaid plan is available across all the circles having Vodafone's 4G network, however, when we checked on Vodafone's website, it was actually unavailable in circles like Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Chennai. Users also receive unlimited local and STD calls. People also get unlimited local, STD, roaming incoming and outgoing calls as well as 100 SMS per day. But Vodafone falls short of Reliance Jio though as the new entrant is offering 1.2GB data per day for the same price. Jio Rs 399 prepaid recharge planJio's prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 399 comes with 70 GBs of high speed data for a validity period of 70 days. Vodafone is limiting the voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. If you are a new customer, you will need to pay Rs 229 for the same offer. All plans of Jio comes with unlimited data usage after the daily data limit usage is over. Under this prepaid recharge plan, Jio offers 1 GB of high speed data per day for the validity period. To continue doing good business, the company has also introduced a new plan of Rs. 229.
