Now that the announcement has at for a day, Bandai Namco has releases a bit more information regarding the game and what we can expect from it.

Bandai Namco unveiled the next installment of their weapon-based fighting game series during the Video Game awards. In the brief trailer, we get to take a look at some of the environment with its fighting stage, with a short sight sequence featuring Mitsurugi engaging in battle with Sophitia. This could be a new revision in the gameplay mechanic. According to the developers, the Reversal Edge will allow characters to clash and counterattack each other based on their opponents actions; it is definitely a system I am looking forward to learning more about in the future.
