Trader Joe's has recalled some of its packaged poultry salads over concerns they may contain pieces of glass or hard plastic.

The ready-to-eat chicken and turkey salads were produced from November 4 - 15, 2017.

The products will all bear establishment number "P-40299" inside the USDA mark of inspection and were sold in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.

The grocery chain said packages of white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad and turkey cranberry apple salad sold in some areas could be contaminated. Instead, consumers should discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.

Green Cuisine, the California company that makes the salads, is recalling about 36,854 pounds of the chicken and turkey salad products, the USDA announced Saturday.

Trader Joe's addressed the recall on their website, saying all affected product on their shelves have been destroyed.
