Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has cautioned his team to "stay humble" after they came from behind to defeat Argentina 4-2 in a friendly game on Tuesday.

The Eagles soared back to life in the second half when Iwobi equalised in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.

The victory, earned at the Krasnodar Arena Stadium in Russian Federation, has bolstered the team's confidence as they kick off preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Referencing a previous heart problem, Argentinian team doctor Donato Villani told reporters: "He felt bad twice, and with the medical history he has, since he was operated on when he was 15, we wanted to be sure it was nothing".

The Super Eagles shocked African football fans by skipping past Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria, who could only record one victory between themselves in Group B.

"We are very happy and excited with this development", said Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi.

"It is good victory for us but it doesn't mean we've become favorites to win the World Cup".

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was taken to hospital in Krasnodar after he fainted inside the dressing room during the friendly against Nigeria.

TyC Sports (h/t City Watch) reported Aguero regained consciousness but was taken to hospital for checks. Did extra work trying to curtain the Albiceleste forward line after the initial blitz that left them panicking.

Abdullahi ( 5/10) - Like Awaziem, he also had an average performance.

Iwobi (8/10) - Iwobi was unarguably the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Super Eagles in Krasnoder.
