Fans of the DC cinematic universe will recognize The Enchantress from 2016's "Suicide Squad" feature film, but the third reveal was for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today officially announced the details for Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title's larger-than-life showdowns. The Atom will kick off Fighter Pack #3, with Early Access for him starting on December 12.

Yep, you read that right. With a number of promised characters - including some from Watchmen - still MIA, many fans expected the announcement to reveal one of those additions, only for Michelangelo to be revealed as the one wearing the trenchcoat at the end of the trailer before being joined by Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael. Exactly how that works is unclear, but we're probably not going to find out until their gameplay trailer.

They aren't the first non-DC or NetherRealm characters included as DLC for the game either.

While the TMNT brand is now in the hands of comic book publisher IDW, the Turtles crossed over for a six-issue Batman story - which IDW co-published with DC - that ran in 2016. As with Fighter Pack 2 DLC, The Fighter Pack 3 DLC will bring more familiar characters with awesome unique moves and will come as part of the Injustice 2 Ulitmate Edition or be able to be purchased separately. The PC beta has concluded although some players are saying they can still play when launching the game.
