First daughters defend Malia Obama after viral videos

Videos showing the former first daughter exhibiting fairly normal teenage behavior have left people divided.

As we reported, the 19-year-old was seen at the Harvard-Yale tailgate in New Haven, Connecticut over the weekend - where Barack and Michelle Obama's baby girl was locking lips with a new guy! Both Malia and Farquharson are Harvard students.

Apparently, Rory studied at the Rugby School, one of the most prestigious schools in the United Kingdom and was the head of the 2015-2016 scholar year and received a distinction for the most outstanding student, academically and socially.

But things not may not be rosy between Malia's potential flame and her father.

In the video, Malia looked pleased with herself as she paused for a kiss in what seemed to be a smoke break.

While the former president's daughter should obviously expect interest from the press, the coverage of her enjoying typical rites of passage come off as intrusive and inappropriate. Especially since Barack Obama apparently thought Britain's attachment to the UK-US "special relationship" was a joke, which he regularly mocked.

"Malia Obama's private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait", Clinton wrote.

First lady Melania Trump thanked Clinton for her defense of her son and called the media coverage a form of cyberbullying.

Ivanka Trump, current President Donald Trump's eldest daughter, also defended Malia's right to privacy. It's likely he only began dating Malia, also 19, in recent months when she joined the Ivy League university at the end of the summer. Malia Obama took a gap year after graduating high school in 2016, in what the Obamas said was an effort to start college without the distraction of her father in the White House.
