Actor Kamal Haasan has confirmed that he will be joining politics in 2-3 days and there is no amount of criticism that can stop him from speaking his mind.

A senior leader of the Hindu outfit - Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha - on Friday had slammed Kamal Haasan for his "Hindu terror" remarks and said people like him should be "shot dead".

Meanwhile Arvind Swamy wrote, 'Terrorist defi nes a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims'.

Referring to the statement made by Haasan on Thursday in a column in a weekly magazine, Mahasabha leader Pt. Ashok Sharma said these people accused the followers of Hinduism of Hindu terror only to "push their own biased communal agenda".

"Kamal Haasan and likes of him should either be shot dead or hanged so that they learn a lesson".

Haasan further writes, "The right-wing groups can not deny Hindu terrorism in their camps as well". However, since "this old conspiracy" had begun to fail, the groups are indulging in violence, he wrote. "The Hindus can not challenge others to show extremists among them since extremism has spread to that extent even among the Hindus", he wrote. Abhishek Agarwal, Meerut President of the outfit further said that all Indians should make the pledge.

The Kerala chief minister had asked the actor to express his view on "Hindutva forces" and its attempt to "dilute Tamil culture". But in recent times, communalism and backwardness have set foot into Tamil Nadu. This terrorism is neither a win nor progress for those who call themselves Hindus.
