Announced at BlizzCon 2017, the BlizzardWorld map encapsulates themes and locales from past Blizzard games such as Diablo 3 and Hearthstone. But who is she? She is a genius and controversial geneticist that is now aligned with Talon; also, a formerly affiliated with Blackwatch.

Over a decade ago, Moira published a controversial paper that detailed a methodology for creating custom genetic programs.

She also sports a new teleporting ability named "Fade", which removes her briefly from the map, before appearing in a new location.

Keep on eye on App Trigger for more news and announcements relating to Overwatch coming from BlizzCon 2017! But once free from Overwatch's rule and the world's law, she was able to speed up her research and make what she calls great scientific bounds. Now freed from her constraints however, she's set to break out into the spotlight once and for all in the very near future...

Moira is an Overwatch healer that was once part of Blackwatch-now she aligns with Talon. Her main ability, biotic grasp, will allow her to use a small beam-like ability to heal a single target, or she can use her secondary ability, biotic orb, to heal in an AoE.

Moira also has a Biotic Orb ability, which sees her launch a rebounding sphere which can either heal the allies it reaches, or steal health away from enemies that stand in its path. It looks like a mash-up of Reaper's Teleport ability and Tracer's Blink, so it could prove extremely useful in risky situations. Her ultimate looks like a combined super-beam that heals all allies caught in it, or drains all enemies.

What do you think of these latest additions to Overwatch?

First up, we have the new hero, Moira.
