The trailer is another strong one-not quite as long as the Comic-Con trailer, but still running well over two minutes and showing plenty turn fan excitement and anticipation up to 11 for the final two-week stretch before the new season arrives.

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th, a day reputed to bring bad luck down upon all who experience it.

Netflix released a short teaser for the Stranger Things 2 trailer on Twitter yesterday, cutting together a couple of clips to hint at what people could expect.

"You should go now". While the season's first two trailers focused on teasing Stranger Things" "80s roots, the third and final trailer is all about playing up the show's ensemble cast and at last offering a real, if still limited, taste of the plot.

The pictures show a windy river path which also look like the monster's legs, suggesting that Stranger Things season two will show a link between the IN town becoming more involved IN the action as opposed to the Upside Down. When Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) mysteriously vanishes, his friends Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) begin a desperate investigation to find the missing boy. Along they way, they contend with supernatural forces unleashed from an alternate dimension known as the Upside Down. And we should be especially anxious for Will, who is having nightmares about something else and no one seems to know what's wrong with him. But it's all connected to this singular threat which is tied into this shape that Will sees in the sky.

All episodes of Stranger Things start streaming on October 27.
