Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action game set during the feudal period of Japan, and will allow players to "see the power of the Mongol Empire first-hand".

Ghost of Tsushima is the latest project from Sucker Punch Productions following 2014's Infamous: First Light, which acted as a prequel to the studio's previous effort Infamous: Second Son. The Mongol army have invaded the island of Tshushima, and you as the player must control one of the last samurai as he attempts to fight off the invading horde. The game was recently revealed at Sony's Paris Games Week conference and it is confirmed for the PS4. But, honorable tactics won't lead you to victory.

Capcom's Monster hunter World revealed that in preparation for the game's release they have an incoming beta for PS Plus along with the reveal that Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn will be featured in the game. However, we fully expect that Sucker Punch will have more information available on this game in the coming months. In Ghost of Tsushima, you play as a battered samurai, fighting back against overwhelming odds.

This first look at Ghost of Tsushima looks promising, and we'll keep you up to date with all news about it. The trailer is the ideal way to share with the world what we've been dying to play for so many years-fighting back invaders in feudal Japan, mastering the katana and building your legend as "the Ghost".

As of the time of this writing, Ghost of Tsushima now has no release date, however, it will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4.
