A Utah girl couldn't contain her excitement when she found out that she was going to be adopted, and her reaction was caught on a security camera.

Year Six student Tannah Butterfield was given the happiest news of her life at school last Monday, and her reaction said it all.

Jackie Alexander, Tannah's friend and the office manager at her school, was asked to deliver the good news because she was going to be the first person to see 11-year-old, who had been anxious about the adoption.

"My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming". Tannah, her siblings Teagun, 6, and Tallie, 2, will join the Fisher's two biological children. To tell a little girl that she gets her family forever takes the cake. I can't even describe that hug.and thank heavens her mom doesn't mind that I kissed her a million times, and a million more after the film cuts off.

Jackie Alexander said the moment made her day.

"She just held me tighter and tighter, so I took advantage of that".

"I just thought, 'Oh my gosh, we've done the right thing, '" Fisher said. "We did the right thing", said Jennifer Fisher.

"I was overjoyed and humbled", Alexander said.

Butterfield said, "Never, ever give up hope." because she's proof that dreams really do come true.

"A moment needed after waking up to another morning of devastating news... but a sweet reminder today that life can be and still is lovely in spite of it all". "My husband and I had a lot of infertility problems and we had wanted more", she said, continuing, "This kind of fell on our lap".

The average age of a child awaiting adoption is around seven years, and they usually spend around three years in foster care.
