Donald Trump Marks Hispanic Heritage Month By Mocking The Puerto Rican Accent

The moment echoes Trump's celebratory Cinco de Mayo tweet from 2016 in which the then-candidate declared, "I love Hispanics!" while eating a taco bowl from the Trump Tower restaurant.

As the crowd cheered, Trump happily proclaimed, "And we also love Puerto Rico", in his normal voice.

Reporters asked what he meant and Trump said: "It could be, the calm, the calm before the storm". You protect our communities and you defend our nation.

Hispanic business, community, and faith leaders invited to join in the celebration are sure to be excused if their attention was diverted by Mrs. Trump's bold ensemble - an outfit that featured a tight-fitting white sweater and a flamenco-style red skirt with ruffles.
