On Saturday night the UFC circus comes rolling into Edmonton for the organizations 215th installment of a Pay Per View event that they have put on. However, Borg fell ill during fight week and the bout was canceled on the eve of weigh-ins.

Nunes (15-4) defended her 135-pound title for the second time, narrowly defeating Valentina Shevchenko (14-3) via split decision Saturday in the main event at UFC 215 inside Rogers Place. "But we had sales to overcome those".

We'll get to the main event later, but I want to hit on some real shining moments from these UFC 215 results. I made sure I went to the gym and made sure I was sharp everywhere.

She added: 'I definitely will win this next fight.

Shevchenko blasted the judges' decision in her post-fight interview.

"I think this fight...in three rounds this was my points..."

It's a valid question without a real answer, as even if you didn't think she won the fight (I did, for the record), there is no real way to be critical of her conditioning or her overall performance.

Henry Cejudo def. Wilson ReisHenry Cejudo looked exactly like the man that many predicted would eventually become Demetrious Johnson's greatest rival when the former Olympic wrestler chose to turn his attention to MMA just four years ago.

The bout has particular significance to flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

Also on the main card, in a bout with a potential title shot on the line, former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos submitted sixth-ranked Neil Magny with an arm-triangle choke in the first round of their welterweight battle.

There is one match-up which really salivates the mouth, however, and that is Robbie Lawler.

Gavin Tucker, who was considered one of the top Canadian prospects in the UFC, lost in one of the most lopsided decisions in UFC history against Rick Glenn. There's noway getting around the fact that the action was slow.

It's never easy for a fighter to earn a third opportunity to face an opponent after two past losses, but Shevchenko is determined to get back into the cage with Nunes again in the future.

"I was not concerned about anything [entering Round 5]", Nunes said. Nunes will move on to fights with bigger names and opponents that figure to get a more exciting fight out of her. Shevchenko will of course still have the skills to beat Nunes, but she'll have to win a few fights to get back to that opportunity.

"Prior to beginning the bulk of his weight cut the UFC doctor examined Borg and concluded that he was too ill to fight this week and needed time to rest and get better". A 48-47 split is exactly the right call. Arjan Bhullar became the first fighter of Indian descent to fight in the octagon, making the most of it in a unanimous decision over Luis Henrique. Nunes and Shevchenko will likely be closely matched rivals similar to Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson.
