You may have already heard Super Mario Run is prepping for its biggest update yet on September 29. Although it was successful in its first few months compared to many mobile games, it didn't become a major contributor to Nintendo's bottom line.

Also in the update is a new group of regular levels called World Star. While you patiently wait for next week's update, head over to our Super Mario Run wiki guide for loads of tips, tricks and a detailed walkthrough. You don't just get the opportunity to pick Princess Daisy from the character list and go play, you need to add her by playing another mode called Remix 10. It has nine entirely new individual levels with snazzy new backgrounds and visuals, new enemies to evade without breaking stride, and gameplay mechanics.

According to Apple's newly revamped App Store, which now boasts the curation powers of a fully fledged editorial site, Super Mario Run is getting a raft of new content and a price cut on September 29th. The description says that this mode will have players completing sections from ten different existing Super Mario Run levels in succession.

The stages are remixed with each attempt, and with rainbow-colored bonus medals strewn across these bite-sized stages, it's a fresh challenge every time.

Remix 10 will give players a chance to collect new items to decorate their Mushroom Kingdom. They will also get to choose a playable character aside from Mario, Princess Daisy.

There's a brand new world to play through: World Star.

Coinciding with Friday's update, Nintendo will also drop the price of Super Mario Run for a limited time. But Nintendo is going to release an update that might bring their mobile game to life. Also, players can now listen to their own music other than the usual "Super Mario Run" playlist.
