An 18-year-old was taken into custody and is being questioned after the deadly incident inside a school in the Bronx, WABC reported.

Police say a roughly two-week-long argument between teens at a New York City public high school ended in tragedy Wednesday, about 30 minutes into the students' third period history class, when one of the students stabbed two others.

There was no record at the school of a previous dispute between the three, police said.

Police say the 15-year-old who was killed was stabbed in the chest. Cedeno's Instagram feed is full of selfies and videos of him singing along to popular songs.

The victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where the 15-year-old was pronounced dead, according to police. Cedeno is being held at the 48th Precinct.

The motive for the attack is unconfirmed, but investigators believe the attacker may have been the target of ongoing bullying, according to the New York Post.

Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina added, "Every parent has the right to expect that when they send their children to school in the morning, they'll come back at 3 o'clock in very good shape".

She said extra grief counselors and guidance counselors will be on hand at the school Thursday: "This will be a school that we'll be supporting as closely as many different ways as possible".

The incident happened at P.S. 67, a building that houses multiple schools on Mohegan Avenue in West Farms just before 11 a.m.
