Fourteen locations span all three Star Wars eras, characters are now split into classes with unique abilities and equipment, while good teamwork smooths the path towards calling in battlefield boosts, such as one of 14 powerful hero characters.

Some of the highlights include the Starkiller Base, Yavin 4, debris of the second Death Star, Hoth, Endor, and even Mos Eisley. Star Wars: Battlefront added a lot more in four premium DLC launches that followed, and became a much different game in the additional free content updates and changes since. The trailer goes through the maps, modes, vehicles, heroes, and everything else you can expect from the game. According to another post on EA's official site, Battlefront II will feature a mode called Strike, where two eight-player teams will compete in objective-based missions. This allows you to hone on your skills before you take the fight online.

"In the full release, you'll be able to bring the Star Cards, weapons, and unlocked abilities from multiplayer with you into Arcade". Players will be able to adjust the difficulty, trooper classes of the AI and more. Those who are able to preorder "Battlefront 2" before September 30 will be able to start playing with the beta a bit earlier on October 4.

In more news, EA detailed the PC system requirements of the #Open Beta prior to release in October.

The American video game publisher has also confirmed all 11 playable maps, offering extensive details and revealing Star Wars Battlefront II will indeed take players back to Jakku.

You may have also noticed in the trailer that Star Wars Battlefront II will feature a heroes vs. villains mode, for those of you who want to team up with your friends to recreate some legendary duels from the films.
