Pradyuman's father Varun Thakur told him that though police are doing their job, he is not satisfied with the probe and demanded the investigation be transferred to the CBI.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made the announcement after he met the victim's parents at their residence today. "I appeal to the CBI to investigate the case as expeditiously as possible", Khattar said.

Just after the killing of Pradyuman, the conductor Ashok confessed to his crime in front of the police.

The chief minister, who visited the house of Pradyuman, offered his condolences to his family.

The doctor who performed the post-mortem had confirmed that Pradyuman had been murdered but ruled out sexual assault.

"The Haryana Police has been properly conducting a probe in this case". The Gurgaon Police had detained the school's gardener, Harpal Singh.

Two officials of Haryana Police have also questioned the management of Ryan International School's Kandivali branch in Mumbai over the murder. They just want action against the guilty so that such incidents never occur again in any school. His wife claims he has been forced to make the confession. "If any loopholes are found in the implementation of rules (at the school), the term of the deputy commissioner as administrator can be increased".

There would be proper attendance, reporting of absentees and compulsory ID cards for staff and students while special attention would be paid to accident and abuse-prone areas inside schools, he said.

The Directorate of School Education and the Haryana government have constituted a committee to frame guidelines for safety of students and teachers at schools.

He also stated that under the Startup policy the Haryana Government will develop Two lakh square meter land, and said, "We have created two funds of fifteen and 100 crore for startups".
