"It was tough for me, had walk-throughs all week, really my first time working with the first, the ones, so I just kind of tried to get on the same page and to work through it and that's what we did".

An extremely disappointing and embarrassing start to the season for both these teams with the Texans smacked by AFC South rival Jaguars and the Bengals kept scoreless at home against their AFC North rival, Ravens.

Four series later, the Texans would get the ball at their own ten yard-line, and drive down the field. "My receivers and everyone that was downfield did a good job of blocking for me". He was taken to the locker room shortly before the half, but returned for the second half. "Away game, Thursday night, prime-time".

The two sacks tied Atkins' career high, which he had recorded five other times.

Coach Bill O'Brien was impressed with the way Watson handled the game considering the team had such a quick turnaround before playing on Thursday night.

Even when the Bengals score a touchdown, they don't. Additionally, each of the three tight ends was out against Cincinnati with an injury. The Bengals' tailback depth, with Mixon supporting accomplished veterans Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill, amassed only 75 yards on 21 carries, or 3.6 per rush.

"I looked up there, and he was open", Dalton said. "Anytime we can create some turnovers and get the offense some extra possessions, that's huge for us as a team so I think that definitely helped us out tonight to pull off the win".

Judging by the performances of their blockers in the opening week of the season, it's fair to wonder if there will be more sacks than points in Thursday night's game between the Texans and Bengals.

The Houston Texans will travel to the face the New England Patriots (0-1) next Sunday and the Cincinnati Bengals will travel to face the Green Bay Packers (1-0) next Sunday. Not only did they both suffer humiliating defeats in the NFL's opening weekend slate of games, but both teams' offenses were awful.

He said he even asked two National Football League personnel people to watch the film and evaluate the performance, saying that they found that 12 of Savage's 13 passes touched receivers' hands.

Coming off embarrassing home losses in their season openers, both the Texans and the Bengals are looking to get on track in week 2.
