Apple's desire to get into the video entertainment game is pretty well-known and was made more clear a year ago when they bought the rights to the Carpool Karaoke TV series. The first installment stars James Corden and Will Smith.

Smith, 48, said: "It was the first time we met".

Unfortunately, Smith didn't drop any more gems about the potential biopic, but he did sing along to his jams, "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Boom!" Some examples: "Awww, Will, let me send you this 12-minute video of my niece at her recital".

"He told me that he felt confident that I had the ears for the role", Smith quipped.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series premiered Tuesday with an episode featuring James Corden riding alongside Will Smith. The TV host then asked the Men In Black actor if he had ever been asked to play the former United States president Barack Obama, and you might be surprised at his answer.

Watch the grab below and if you feel like you need more, you can download the full episode from iTunes! "I've walked out of three Circles Of Safety where I was like, "That's your mum, you've got to talk to your mum". "It's completely up to them and that's a conversation we haven't even thought about having right now because I think it's really important that we, you know, it's a tragedy".

Smith mocked Corden, 38, after the Briton said he had a "rap troupe" at school, and his pseudonym was "Chub Nasty". Corden and Ben Winston are the creators and executive producers, along with executive producer Eric Pankowski.
