Taylor's lyric video received 19 million views in its first 24 hours which effortlessly topped the previous record holder of the Chainsmokers and Coldplay's Something Just Like This which held the spot of 9 million.

Youtube claimed on Tuesday it was the biggest debut of any video in the history of YouTube, beating the 36-million mark set by South Korean singer Psy's "Gentlemen" for the very same time frame in 2013.

Taylor Swift sent a thank you to some special people who helped make her "Look What You Made Me Do" video possible!

Between a messy breakup with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, a subsequent high-profile fling with Tom Hiddleston and a very public feud with the Wests, "she felt like her personal life was spinning out of control", a source close to the star, 27, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

39 million youtube views in 24 hours.

The music video starts with Swift crawling out of a grave and declaring her old self dead, in an attempt to portray a hard-edged artist who has nothing left to lose.

The first record she broke was most lyric video views in its first day. Most importantly she is planning on releasing it on the anniversary of Kanye's mother, Donda West's death - November 10.

According to Music Business Worldwide, the hit quickly became the most streamed song on Spotify in it's first day.
