"We joke around here a lot about like exclusives". I'll tell you, we sanctioned Russian Federation just last week, and it felt pretty great. "I don't want to be alarmist, we're all going to die". Everybody wants this fella. We got the Mooch.

Scaramucci briefly spoke with several reporters in the wake of his White House dismissal, but then pledged to go "dark" for a little while, so "This Week" and the "Late Show" will mark his re-emergence in the public eye.

Colbert's audience broke out in hysterics, screaming "Moooooooch" in excitement upon hearing the news.

"Thankfully, faced with the greatest challenge of his presidency, Donald Trump stepped up, and in a moment of pure statesmanship, de-escalated the rhetoric and brought calm to our anxious nation", Colbert said.

"I can't believe it!" The former White House communications director has reportedly been delighting in his newfound celebrity, posing for photos with "fans" (with his mirror-finished blue aviator shades on) and even receiving an ovation upon walking into a Westhampton Beach restaurant recently, according to Axios. "We set out a Mooch trap".

This will mark Scaramucci's first televised interviews since leaving his Washington DC gig.

"It's going to be fun", Colbert said. You should see the size of their missiles.
