Star Wars: Episode IX gets a new screenwriter

Actor John Boyega says "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will give an amazing send-off to Carrie Fishers Princess Leia.

As it turns out, the concluding film to the newest Star Wars trilogy will have one more pair of hands on deck! It was revealed in this exhibit that BB-8 will be playing a larger role, as he is now part of the resistance opposing the First Order. I felt like everyone in the cast went silent for a bit after that, ' he added.

Apparently Boyega worked quite closely Fisher, and we should expect to see the two of them spending a lot of screen time together. Star Wars undercover is different because you wear a hat and all of a sudden no one recognizes you.

Filming for Episode IX is expected to lift off in January 2018, and is set to be released on May 24, 2019. The actress and celebrated author was due to appear in the next instalment in the franchise, Star Wars: Episode IX, but The Last Jedi will mark her last real appearance as the iconic Princess Leia.
