Major spoilers for Game of Thrones S07E06 follow. Right from the battle with the White Walkers till the final scene that would make every fan squeal in horror (or joy, depending on whose team you're on), the end is nigh and there's little hope left. Viral-tweeting US President Donald Trump would not be out of place in this fantasy landscape.

"The thing with Coldhands is it allows us to work in a pretty compressed time frame because there just isn't time".

It's not all war and grimness on the sets of the series. And then the realisation dawned upon everyone that there's only one more episode to go *heartbreak* Maybe GRRM is happy now The finale of Game of Thrones season 7 airs on August 28.

The half-frozen Jon Snow was already on Benjen's steed and being sent to Eastwatch-by-the-sea when he realized that Benjen was relatively undead. And in case it wasn't abundantly clear, the showrunners explained during "Inside the Episode" they both definitely have feelings for one another.

She nailed her entrance, burning quite a few wights to a crisp, but no before the Night King could grab an icy spear and thrust it into the heart of Viserion, causing him to fall out of the sky and into the lake below. While they were heading towards their catastrophe, a vivified Polar Bear assaults them.

The Game of Thrones season 7 finale is less than a week away.

On the bright side, Jon Snow and the others found out last night that if you kill one of the White Walker leaders, it seems the rest collapse and die. But all humans will have to band together to defeat the Night King's massive army. The Night King has bigger plans for Viserion, commanding his soldiers to pull the creature out.

Jon, the saint, remains back to battle the Wights with the goal that his kin could board the Dragons.

"Whereas common dragons... breathe flame, ice dragons supposedly breathe cold, a chill so awful that it can freeze a man solid in half a heartbeat".

But Clarke does see some grim humor in the fact that it was Viserion, who was named after Daenerys' abusive brother Viserys, was the one to flip. It becomes a game of ice and fire, with the fire breathing dragons causing mayhem among the dead.
