Leonard Ellerbe in the CEO of Mayweather Promotions and he has been with Floyd Mayweather throughout the whole build to the super fight with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor. "If it goes the distance, it's a victory for him - in my eyes also".

Earlier this month, Malignaggi bailed on McGregor's preparations for his August 26 boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, citing multiple reasons.

Conor McGregor hit back at former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi, saying the retired two-time champion was looking for an excuse to leave training camp.

McGregor warmed up and then pulled on his boxing gloves, working up a sweat on a selection of punch bags for 12 three-minute rounds. Right listen, I'm telling you all, I'm going to go at him. "And I'll rule over both (boxing and MMA) with an iron fist - an iron left fist", he told reporters. The sparring partners that were in the house with him were anxious that night, saying he's incoherent, he's stumbling.

"He was flattened against the ropes; multiple times the ropes kept him on his feet". The sparring partners were actually telling us when he was dropped back at the home that he was stumbling out of the auto after the 12-rounder. He was badly, badly concussed after those rounds.

"If you look at all of Floyd's past opponents, they have all feared him, they have all given him respect".

"He knows, he knows there is no racism from me". It didn't go well for him.

Plenty of McGregor fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion, and the American boxer fired back with several disparaging remarks about Notorious and the "ass beating" he gave him during Tuesday's sparring session.

The video clips show McGregor landing some stiff, yet clean shots on Malignaggi.

We're sure nearly everyone has heard the song Mick Konstantin wrote about Conor McGregor.

"In my opinion, this was the best thing for him", McGregor said.
