HBO on Sunday released a first look at Al Pacino as disgraced Penn State football coach Joe Paterno in its movie about the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

Are you planning to watch the upcoming HBO movie about the Sandusky scandal?

The film, which does not yet have a title is being directed by Barry Levinson.

Before the scandal, Paterno was regarded as one of the most legendary coaches in college football history as he led Penn State to two national championships during his 45-year career. Rounding out the cast are Heroes' Greg Grunberg (as son Scott Paterno), Friends From College's Annie Parisse (as daughter Mary Kay Paterno) and The Girlfriend Experience's Riley Keough.

Here it is: Al Pacino as Joe Paterno.

The Joe Paterno biopic was written by Debora Cahn, David McKenna and John C. Richards, and is being produced in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Three other former high-ranking Penn State administrators are also serving time for how they responded to a 2001 complaint about Jerry Sandusky showering with a boy. He died in 2012 at the age of 85 following complications from lung cancer.

The movie, which will be on HBO, is now in production. In previous HBO biopics, he's portrayed Jack Kevorkian and Phil Spector.
