Last week, Conor McGregor took to the stage to face off against Floyd Mayweather in a press call, and all eyes were on the subtle message hidden in his bespoke suit.

Telegraph Sport reports his team as saying: "The guy mentioned by Jessie Vargas is Brandon Rios, not Brad Wheeler".

Rios confirmed that he has never sparred with McGregor and interestingly claimed that he didn't even know who "The Notorious" was.

Mayweather heads into the bout with an undefeated 49-0 record across a glittering 21-year career in contrast to McGregor, who has only previously competed professionally as a mixed martial artist.

'The world's gone insane, ' Rios told ES News. On Monday night, shortly after the story about McGregor getting knocked out started making the rounds, Fight Hype caught up with Mayweather.

"Conor's gonna get knocked out", Vargas told Villanfy Media.

"My thing basically is like this: If I ain't seen no footage, I don't believe it", Mayweather said to "Me and Jessie Vargas are in communication".

Check out this interview below where Vargas and his team members confirm exactly how small the boxing world is. I actually wanna (sic) put some money on it.

The pair finished their four-day promotional tour on Friday with a heated exchange at Wembley where McGregor referred to Mayweather as a 'stupid, baldy t***'.

"We're working on Vargas to sign with Mayweather Promotions", he added, "so we've been communicating". Making an appearance on "The MMA Hour", Malignaggi admitted that there's a slim chance McGregor will be able to pull off the upset and leave Las Vegas with a victory.
