Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect in the Delphi murder investigation.

According to our sister station WTHR, Indiana State police will be giving an update on their current investigation.

Fourteen-year-old Liberty German vanished with 13-year-old Abigail Williams on February 13 while hiking near Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

Search volunteers found the girls' bodies near the Delphi Historic Trail the next day. Police say he has reddish brown hair. They also released audio of a male saying 'down the hill'.

State police believe this new sketch may help identify a man who appeared in two previously released photos that were taken on the Monon High Bridge in Delphi, Indiana on February 13 when Abby and Libby disappeared.

Investigators are asking the public to study the man's facial features and contact them with any information on him.

Other details about the deaths, including how the girls were killed or a possible motive, have not been released.

A reward in excess of $230,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these murders.

On Monday, they released a sketch showing a more detailed description of what the man may look like.

That evidence came from German's cellphone, who police have hailed as a hero for recording potentially crucial evidence.
