LG to unveil the LG V30 on August 29th, says report

A report this week suggested that we might meet the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in late August, and now another rumor claims that we'll see a new LG flagship shortly after.

As the release of the LG V30 draws nearer, details about its specifications and features come to light.

The series, which is notable for a secondary display above the main screen, made headlines past year when it launched as the first smartphone packing Android Nougat out of the box. The pre-order program might run for a week or two via three South Korean mobile network provider after the Unpacked event.

According to the report, the V30 will come with a bezel-less OLED display which will include a secondary display, a defining characteristic of the V series previously. LG's upcoming handset will arrive with an OLED display, which could offer a seriously superb visual performance.

The LG V30 is speculated to carry a price tag of 800,000 KRW ($699.98) for the 64GB variant.

"LG Electronics also changed V30's design". ETNews tells us LG's second flagship for 2017 will make a debut a day before the IFA 2017 tradeshow starts off in Berlin on September 1.

The V30 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's yet to be announced Snapdragon 836, the same processor that should power Samsung's Galaxy Note8, rumored to be announced in August.
