As directed by Patty Jenkins, the movie is quite admirable.

Gal Gadot is now one of the most talked-about actresses in Hollywood after her hit film "Wonder Woman" broke records last week. The critical and the commercial success of Wonder Woman has encouraged more Hollywood film-makers to be more confident about female superheroes and making solo movies for them.

Spoilers ahead for Wonder Woman.

Jenkins is the third director that has emerged out of the DC universe after Zack Snyder and David Ayer. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. While we knew that Connie Nielsen was set to return as Hippolyta for Justice League, it turns out that Robin Wright is also on board for the big DCEU crossover. "And she said, 'I really like this colored-smoke thing.'" He laughs.

As Wright's character Antiope is fatally shot by German WWI soldiers who follow Chris Pine's Steve Trevor to the island paradise of Themyscira during Wonder Woman it is expected that Wright and Nielsen's roles will be the result of flashback sequences. Through a series of tests, Artemis, an Amazon from a rival tribe, was crowned the new Wonder Woman and made it her sacred duty to protect the Earth.

The people at Variety got their hands on the figures first and they make for some interesting reading. With that said, how will she return when Wonder Woman joins the rest of the DC Comics crew in Justice League this November?

Artemis did not make for as good of a Wonder Woman as Diana did.

"There have been great female characters in ensembles, but this is the first time that a superhero movie with a lead female character in front of the camera and a female director behind the camera has shattered all expectations", says Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at comScore.

It is a known fact that Wonder Woman had a huge reception, with the movie garnering $103.3 million domestically on its opening weekend.

Hudson also describes how Diana has to leave her heaven-like planet to defeat the evil one on earth and bring peace to mankind. Think of how much of the praise heaped on the film referenced how different, how refreshing it felt. We replaced that one scene with a reshot scene, and we didn't change the order of a single scene.
