Adam Zagoria is saying that league sources tell him the Celtics could be loading up on draft picks to make a trade with the Chicago Bulls for Jimmy Butler. There were reports the teams were working on a trade for the forward before the 2016 NBA Draft but a deal never materialized.

Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler has continued to have his name come up in trade talks, as both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves have emerged as potential destinations for him heading into the 2017-18 season.

Celtics have been high on Josh Jackson. Cleveland has been working through Monday in an effort to secure Butler's services, as multiple teams around the league have made him a person of interest, especially heading into the National Basketball Association draft on Thursday night.

According to Clutch Points, the Celtics are set on acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Bulls with the number three pick they acquired today.

Now there's no word on the packages the Cavs are trying to put together, but you would have to imagine that it includes Kevin Love. 1 and 3 overall picks in Thursday night's draft.?

The Bulls are doing what they said they would do: listen to offers, but ask for a lot in return.

If the Bulls part ways with Jimmy Butler, it certainly would indicate that their playoff experiment from the past season is being abruptly ended.

Granted, the Celtics are poised to add another future first-round pick in their imminent deal with the 76ers that could be included in trade talks.

If Butler goes, it would be surprising to see Wade stick around on a team that won't be contending any time soon.
