'The Gifted': Full Trailer Drops for X-Men Series

Fox released the first full trailer for the upcoming Marvel series "The Gifted" on Sunday night, May 14 ahead of the network's upfront presentation in NY on Monday, according to Variety. If you watch FX, you might get the darker site. So it seems like, before discovering his children were mutants, Reed's job was hunting them down and imprisoning them.

One thing that Logan showed was that a very focused X-Men story is a very good X-Men story.

This series may be about the children with extraordinary abilities, but their parents-Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker-are said to be the "leads" in the series.

The Gifted is the newest installment in Singer's venture onto the small screen. Fans of the franchise can check out the first-look trailer below, thanks to a late night upload from FOX.

Feared. Persecuted. Hunted. The familiar mainstays of Fox's mutant saga are all intact in the first official trailer for The Gifted. She's a mid-major character in the X-Men universe who has powers similar to Magneto, her biological father.

The opening seconds of this trailer also introduce Polaris, a.k.a. Lorna Dane (Emma Dumont). But she will now be played by Jamie Chung on the show. A full trailer for the fall series dropped this morning and it has everything you'd want from an X-Men TV show. Also, we see Blink, a teleporting mutant who also appeared in Days of Future Past, which further muddles any connections.

The Gifted will airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox. In the same way, THE GIFTED will explore similar themes, in that just because someone is different, doesn't make them less of a person. Forced to protect them by any means necessary from a government who would lock them up, the family team with an underground mutant network in a bid to survive.
