"At times I think the expectations were each a little bit different for each contestant, and its hard to follow Laurie [Hernandez]", Biles said of fellow Team USA gymnast Hernandez who competed last season. Each couple was tasked with learning two complete routines. The first round of competition had each contestant working with one of the judges, while the second round featured an entirely new dance for each contestant.

Despite the shocking and unceremonious ending to her DWTS run, Biles remain poised and expressed gratitude for her time on the show. It really is! Read on.

In this round, pair Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Simone Biles & Sasha Farber scored 40/40. The former Major League Baseball player danced about his struggle making it into the pros. Carrie Ann dubbed it his best dance yet, and Len appreciated that he "worked harder, tried harder" than others in the competition.

Biles and Farber were paired with Carrie Ann Inaba.

The Fifth Harmony singer opened up about some of the more emotionally challenging aspects of her childhood, including her mom's diagnosis with breast cancer when Kordei was only five years old, and living through Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which damaged her home and displaced her from everything she'd grown up with.

Soon the couples got ready for their next dance performance.

The real shock arrived when the axe came down on Biles, despite the fact that the Olympic gold medalist had earned two ideal scores on Monday, while Ross has never earned a single 10! The judge explained in a scene that she chose a fast-paced dance so that she could find the side of Simone that wasn't flawless. Bruno Tonioli loved that she let loose. Rashad and Emma must do the sensuous, fluid rumba and Bruno wants to help Rashad with his "extremities"; specifically his giant man hands and size 14 feet.

"She's got great spirits because she has no regrets, you know?" They'll be performing a Jive to "Faith" by Stevie Wonder ft. He also praised Rashad's quiet confidence and the duo's fearless partnering.

And finally, Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater did Quickstep dance style on "Yes I Can" song by Superhumans.

National Football League free agent Rashad Jennings and partner Emma Slater claimed second place on the leaderboard with 77 total points.

"Are you telling my secrets?!" See you next week - keep dancing!
