This customisable feature enables users to take photos, open an email or automatically launch a specific app or game.

In the US, Sprint is the exclusive launch partner for the HTC U11. Additionally, users can set the sensitivity, to prevent accidental squeezes.

The HTC U11 features a metallic frame that comes with an array of sensors at its bottom half. However, only two functions can be set at a time. Give the edges of the phone a little squeeze, and you can perform actions like launching the camera, taking a photo, or opening Google Assistant (or Alexa, which is also on board). First, users have to go through a process of testing their squeeze strength, and a digital assistant will guide them how to use the innovative function. It's improved its USonic headphones so that they now boast of Active Noise Cancellation in addition to tuning audio specifically for a person's ear. Stay tuned with us for more mobile news.

Its Liquid Surface design mimics waters reflection. It seems like a really innovative way to interact with a smartphone.

As far as the overall design is concerned, the new HTC U11 has a 3D glass on either face and like the iPhone 7, this entire body is IP67-certified for dust and water resistance.

As for the HTC U11 will come with a compact 5.5-inch QHD display with Corning Gorilla glass on top for added durability. Powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, the HTC U11 runs Android 7.1 Nougat. However, other details were not revealed. This sleek new smartphone will be available shortly in 4GB RAM / 64GB storage configurations for £649 / $649.

HTC U11 will be available from June 9, however, if you're interested, you can preorder the phone. According to camera gurus, the HTC U11 camera scored 90 at DxoMark, making it the highest ever rated on the website.

Another unique aspect of the new U11 is that it has a 16 megapixel selfie camera at the front.

The HTC U11 is the follow-up to last year's HTC 10. On the front, there's a new 16MP sensor with EIS, a 150-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture.

Key commons features among all three, however, include optical image stabilisation to reduce camera shake, as well as slow-motion video capabilities, and 4K resolution video capturing.

HTC says that the feature will have more functionality in July when the company releases the Edge Sense app. "Before, it was a hassle to reach these features, but we simplified it into a single motion", claims HTC. HTC U 11 packs improved BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speakers that deliver better sound with Dynamic Range Audio.

No 3.5mm Jack: The next big thing is HTC has ditched 3.5mm headset jack in U 11 for USB Type-C, which can be used as charging port as well as headphone jack. There is a 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter included in the box, though.
