The night game is scheduled to begin at the conclusion of the Yankees' pre-game ceremony to honor Derek Jeter but no earlier than 6:35 p.m. CT, they said. Only fans with tickets to Sunday's game will be able to attend both games.

By the time Derek Jeter takes his rightful place in Monument Park on Sunday night, it's possible he'll have received similar tributes from every living legend in sports and even some from the entertainment and political worlds.

ASTROS KEY TRENDS: The Astros are 21-7 in their last 28 games overall, are 5-2 in their last seven games when playing the second game of a double-header, and are 5-2 in their last seven games versus an opponent with a winning record.

"We first met when I was in Arizona Fall League, when he was playing baseball". Of course, the number Yankees fans will always remember the most is the number of World Series rings Jeter won.

Drafted sixth overall by NY in 1992, Jeter retired after the 2014 season at age 40 with a.310 career batting average over 2,747 regular season games. Instead, the Yankees will finish up the series against the Astros tomorrow with a doubleheader.

His glamour, good looks and team-first mentality all helped - as did the good sense that kept him out of hot water in an era when many players bathed in scandal and controversy.

McCullers has had an excellent start to the year, with a 2.69 SIERA, 29.1 percent strikeout rate and 1.12 WHIP through 8 games (48 1/3 innings pitched).
